Choosing a Laser Hair Removal Clinic
59Tips For Choosing Laser Hair Removal Centers
If you have unwanted hair, there are many hair removal options out there to choose from. One method of hair removal that is quickly growing in popularity is laser hair removal. Laser hair removal is one of the preferred methods to get rid of unwanted hair largely because of its effectiveness. In most cases, laser hair removal is a permanent procedure, although it may take multiple sessions to effectively remove the unsightly hair. Getting rid of the hair is great, but unfortunately the cost of laser hair removal can be fairly expensive. So if you or a friend would like to have laser hair removal done, it would be very prudent to take the time to shop around. This will not only save you money but it will also help you find the best hair removal clinic for you.
I like discounts and great deals more than the average person, but don’t sacrifice a little bit of money for good quality. When you start your search for a good laser hair removal spa or clinic, talk to the reputable offices first. This will definitely help you determine what you are looking for and will give you a general idea of how things are done. Be sure to do your research and find out as much as you can about each facility. One of the easiest ways to find out about a hair removal center is to ask around. You may have a friend or family member who may have already used someone. You could also do some searches online to see what kind of reviews they have received. Doing this simple step in searching for the right hair removal center will prevent you from having a bad experience and less than satisfactory results.
When doing the research on the laser hair removal clinics, ask each facility about any specials or deals. There may be some clinics that may have drastically reduced prices due to economic pressures. When calling around, it never hurts to ask if they would match another clinics rates or discounts. The worst thing that they could say is no. My philosophy on getting good deals is this. You will never get it if you don’t ask. Just be courteous if you don’t like their answer. J
I heard of a new trend that is going on with laser hair removal. Instead of clinics charging for each session that is done for a specific area, they are now offering a monthly membership. So for instance, instead of paying lets say $100 every time you had your bikini line done, you would just pay a monthly fee and treat whatever area you like. Obviously, your not going to be able to have unlimited access for that month. Each clinic is different or may not even offer this monthly membership option. Again ask to see if this is an option they offer.
I would suggest that you narrow down your choices to two or three clinics. Once you have done that, schedule a consultation with each one. Most places offer a free consultation. This is perfect because you can ask as many questions and get a feel for the laser hair removal clinic. You will be able to get a general idea of how many repeat sessions it may take, what type of equipment that they use and most importantly, how experienced the practitioner is.
Another thing to consider is male laser hair removal is a tiny bit different than female laser hair removal. Not that the procedures used are any different but that they effectiveness may vary. For example, females might require fewer sessions to remove unwanted hair compared to males. It could be the complete opposite too. So if a fiend says that it took this many sessions to remove the unwanted hair, it will probably be different for you. Whether it is more or less I can’t say but this is a good reason you should consult with the clinic before you go. Don’t just take someone’s word that it takes two, three or five sessions and then sign up thinking that is all it is going to take. It is different for everyone and only the reputable clinic or spa can give you a good estimate.

I had 5 treatments. I went to American Laser, who supposedly had the most recent machines. They even burned my bikini area once and left a blister! That was actually the last time I went. I was really annoyed. They had told me because my skin was so light they could use the highest setting and I would have better results over someone who was darker. Needless to say, it was $1000 I should have spent on a vacation!

I paid a lot of money for several laser hair removal sessions. For underarm and bikini area. Didn't work!
